Conference Calling 1. Initiate a Callback from Anywhere. 2. Press * # 5 after you have the first party on the line. 3. You will hear a prompt "Initiating Conference Call. Welcome to Colson Communications. Enter the phone number to call followed by the # key." 4. Then, you will hear a prompt "Please speak your conference invitation greeting after the tone. End your recording with the # key." 5. Once the party you call accepts the conference call request, they hear the call is being transferred. When they join, you will hear a BEEP. You now have 3 people on the line. 6. If the third party does not answer or rejects the request, you will hear "The conference caller did not answer, please try again later". 7. To reach another party, press * # 5 again 8. Follow step 3 to 8 to invite other callers. 9. IMPORTANT: If the first call recipient hangs up, you will not be able to add another conference call. You can get up to 16 people on the line. Every call made is billed at the same rate of the service used. The person initiating the callback will only be charged for the conference calls completed. |
